Prayagi Light House – Touring lighthouses as an initiative by Aitiha started off with a curated tour of heritage False Point Light House under Kendrapara dist in Jan 2025. Coming up next is Light House Prayagi, a landmark located in Prayagi village, about 6km away from Rambha in Ganjam dist. Although constructed recently in 2012, it’s one of the landmarks in the area, providing much needed navigation assistance to the local fishermen community dependent on Chilika lagoon & Bay of Bengal for livelihood. Upon reaching the top of the lighthouse, one can enjoy the breathtaking view of the area & blue sea. Other light houses in Odisha includes Chandrabhaga near Konark, Puri Town (both under Puri dist), Paradeep (Jagatsinghpur dist), False Point (Kendrapara dist), Prayagi & Gopalpur (Ganjam dist) & coming soon at Narayangarh (Baleswar). P:rayagi beach is quite serene & away from hustle bustle with only a few fishermen noticed carrying out their daily chores. This tour a perfect getaway for those who love to explore the lesser-known sites, both heritage & nature (location details shared via whatsapp on request).

Imp Notice: Those planning to join the day tour from outside Bhubaneswar are requested to be on time beforehand to avoid getting missed out. Those travelling overnight via local bus/train are requested to reach before the scheduled time at pickup point. It’s always better to reach & stay overnight at Bhubaneswar before the tour starts. Remember, the tour won’t stop or be delayed in order to accommodate you in case you are late beyond the grace time of 15 min. It’s recommended to arrange for your own drop down & pickup facilities since we not provide any parking facilities for your self-driven vehicle. You may still check the paid parking facilities near the pickup points (if any). Please stick to the route & pickup pints mentioned & kindly don’t request for a customisation.

Registration & payment open till 6 PM of 21st Nov 2025 (Fri). You have to pay online in full through our portal’s event registration page & then register yourself online. No cash payment option available.

Your registration automatically confirms your acknowledgment of our Terms & Conditions, Do’s & Don’ts & Privacy Policy. Our tours will be of limited seats only, hence book early.

We shall move in a standard AC vehicle on sharing basis for the tour. However, if any participant wishes, he/she can opt for ‘Bring Your Own Vehicle (BYOV) option at their own cost but need to follow the pilot vehicle of Team Aitiha.

Our usual route shall be through Ravi Talkies Square>> Khandagiri Square>> Tangi (Khordha)>>Rambha (Ganjam) >> Prayagi

Wear comfortable clothes as per climate, religious sites & private property visits & act responsibly. Please carry your essentials with you which may include any medicine, umbrella/cap, camera with lens etc. Don’t forget to carry your power bank, mobile battery charged, camera ready with battery fully charged & memory card cleaned.
