DESCRIPTION:Prayagi Light House – Touring lighthouses as an initiative by Aitiha started off with a curated tour of heritage False Point Light House under Kendrapara dist in Jan 2025. Coming up next is Light House Prayagi\, a landmark located in Prayagi village\, about 6km away from Rambha in Ganjam dist. Although constructed recently in 2012\, it’s one of the landmarks in the area\, providing much needed navigation assistance to the local fishermen community dependent on Chilika lagoon & Bay of Bengal for livelihood. Upon reaching the top of the lighthouse\, one can enjoy the breathtaking view of the area & blue sea. Other light houses in Odisha includes Chandrabhaga near Konark\, Puri Town (both under Puri dist)\, Paradeep (Jagatsinghpur dist)\, False Point (Kendrapara dist)\, Prayagi & Gopalpur (Ganjam dist) & coming soon at Narayangarh (Baleswar). P:rayagi beach is quite serene & away from hustle bustle with only a few fishermen noticed carrying out their daily chores. Remember\, the tour won’t stop or be delayed in order to accommodate you in case you are late beyond the grace time of 15 min. It’s recommended to arrange for your own drop down & pickup facilities since we not provide any parking facilities for your self-driven vehicle.
