DESCRIPTION:Hindol Town in Dhenkanal district is known for its Hindol Rajbati (Hindol King’s Palace) at Nizigarh. It was built in 1860s during the British era by Raja Iswar Singh Mardraj Jagdeb. The Hindol state was founded in 1554 by the two prince Chandradeba Jenamani & Uddhabadeba Jenamani of Khemundi  Royal family members of undivided Ganjam district. The present Raja Saheb\,His Excellency Sailendra Narayan Singh Deo is quite popular among his subjects & is an avid wildlife lover. \nThe Hindol Palace is surrounded by wild forest reserves & visitors can enjoy bird watching & wild creatures moving near the palace premises. A stay at the palace can make the visitors witness the rituals & culture of the Palace.  On the palace Walk day\, the Palace members shall speak about the rich history & lineage of Hindol while walking through the beautiful palace premises & getting insights about its architectural marvel.
