DESCRIPTION:Sudarshan Sahoo\, an ex-banker\, but a great collector of metalcraft esp brass & bell metal which has created a special identity for him.  Hailing from a master crafstmen family from Kantilo (known for brass metal utensils)\, he has been constantly contributing to his private museum in order to preserve the tradition in the best possible way. Gopinath Heritage Museum of Brass and Bell Metal Crafts & Neglected Arts\, named after his father Gopinath Sahoo\, is a treasure house of metal artefacts which he has painstakingly collected across Odisha & outside. Among the 4000+ brass/bell metal artefacts\, he has some 24 varieties of Kansa Pakhala Belas (container for fermented rice). During the walk\, the participants can have a hands-on experience on the artefacts while listening to Sri Sahoo’s amazing metallic journey \nIt’s an honest attempt by Aitiha to make cultural heritage followers to be aware of the cultural aspects among the state owned & private museums around us.
